How a network block affects your school work
Although your personal computer may be blocked from accessing the network because of a copyright infringement, your IU computing accounts are not disabled. You are still able to access IU technology using other resources such as the Student Technology Centers (STC) and Residential Technology Centers (RTC). While this may be an inconvenience, connecting your personal computer to the IU network is a privilege, not a right. Of course, your use of STC or RTC computers must also comply with copyright law.
